The Steward is you — the creator and owner of a Mind. You define its [Soul](/docs/concepts/soul) (including [DNA](/docs/concepts/dna-identity)), equip its Armory (the collection of [Skills](/docs/concepts/skill) and [Tools](/docs/concepts/tool) you give it), and set [Guardrails](/docs/concepts/guardrail) that keep behaviour predictable at scale.

Every Mind has exactly one Steward in the current product. The Steward controls who is in the Mind's [Circle](/docs/concepts/circles) and funds [Cognition](/docs/concepts/cognition) for the Mind's work.
