Get Started

How to get started

Create a Mind and a Builder API key, then learn what Minds can do with the CLI. Build an app after you know the features.

The Minds CLI is the way to start. It needs a Mind on your account and a Builder API key. From there you can list Minds, check cognition, manage circles, browse the Bazaar, and send a message, or hand those same commands to a coding agent. When those features are familiar, you choose how to ship. A local or deployed app that runs as you uses the Builder API key with the Minds Client Library . When people sign in to your app, they use Minds OAuth through the Minds Connect SDK .

Create your first Mind

You need at least one Mind before the CLI can route messages. Create one from your account, or from the CLI with minds mind awaken after you have a Builder API key. Add more later once you know how Minds work.

Create a Builder API key

Create a key in the Builder console, add a name and expiry, then copy the token when it appears. It is shown only once, so store it as MINDS_BUILDER_API_KEY before you use the CLI.

Build an app powered by Minds

Build an app that connects to Hello Minds with the Minds Connect SDK . Your users sign in with their Minds account, or create one on the spot, and your app can see, message, and work with their Minds. Create an OAuth client to get started.
